Strong seal – even on the high seas
A premium material like teak requires an equally high-quality sealant. 515 Teak Seal was specially developed for filling joints in vessels’ decks made of this wood. But as well as adhering excellently to wood, the moisture-curing silicone also develops a strong hold on metallic and glass substrates. This makes it suitable for many applications in shipbuilding. Whether confronted with salt water, UV radiation or extreme weather, the sealant reliably withstands the challenges at play on the high seas. 515 Teak Seal can be sanded after just 60 hours, meaning it can be finished after just a few days. The silicone absorbs movements due to its extreme elasticity, so can also be used for parquet or laminate floors. Â
