Definition
Definition as per DIN 52 460, terms: Joints requiring regular maintenance are joints that are exposed to strong chemical and/or physical influences, the sealant of which must be checked at regular intervals and renewed if necessary to avoid consequential damage. Sealants also have limits to their load-bearing capacity that are not reached or exceeded during normal use.
The following must be observed
Joints requiring regular maintenance are not subject to the warranty of usual sealing work. This means that joints requiring regular maintenance must already be named and defined before execution. Which joint is to be classified as a joint requiring regular maintenance must already be specified in the offer. It is not possible to "reallocate" in the event of damage.
