Versatile and user-friendly

Its outstanding adhesion to many materials and excellent insulating qualities make our 801 Universal Adapter Schaum an all-rounder when it comes to insulating and filling joints and cavities. The user-friendly can features an adapter, which makes it possible to work cleanly and with close control. Distinctively, the one-component polyurethane foam is predominantly closed-cell in nature and cures due to the humidity in the air. After curing, it becomes semi-hard, rot and moisture-resistant, and can withstand temperatures between -40°C and +80°C. As a result, it can also be used for joints on outside door frames.

Applications

Main applications

Sealing windows and doors on the outside
Long-lasting perimeter joints in outdoor areas require resilient and elastic sealants.

Sealing windows and doors from the inside
Low emitting and elastic sealants allow for air-tight joints, preventing draughts and mould.
Filling wall openings
A safety valve makes it easier to carry out the foaming process in cavities using polyurethane foams.

Other applications

Installing formwork units
Weather-proof and fast-cure sealants are suitable for sealing formwork units.
