Exceptionally elastic for window and door installation

Thanks to its ultra-high elasticity, our 815 Elast Schaum is an ideal material for absorbing movements. This makes the product perfectly suitable for foaming in gaps in roof and wall structures, installing windows, and constructing log buildings. Its excellent thermal and sound insulation characteristics make it a handy material for filling perimeter joints. When applied with a foam gun, 815 Elast Schaum’s special valve allows for extra-clean and controlled backfilling. Once cured, the grey foam is predominantly closed-cell and highly resilient – plus, it can withstand temperatures from -40°C to +80°C.

Applications

Main applications

Sealing windows and doors on the outside
Long-lasting perimeter joints in outdoor areas require resilient and elastic sealants.
